In order to meet the ever-growing demand, the over 50 actors, singers and musicians went to work to create and refine the Cumberland Christmas Spectacular, offered to you in 6 different showings.

After being greeted by the toy soldiers, you’ll then be accompanied by guides for the first part of the show which takes place outdoors.

We’ll ask you to turn the hands of your biological clock back to 1900, in order to meet Mr. and Mrs. Thomas John Taylor (head of the fief of Cumberland). They’ll be more than pleased to greet you and celebrate Christmas together with you.

You’ll then be invited to follow the snow path through the Harbottle Garden that will guide you up to St-Paul Church, the oldest stone church in the region (1847), together with its original furnishings.

The church is located on a small hill in the middle of the Beauceron forest.

All along your journey through the Harbottle Garden, you’ll meet various characters who were a part of Cumberland Mills history back in 1900.

When you arrive at the church, the verger (David Wintle) will explain what’s happening next and that’s when you’ll meet Sam Miller (main character).

You’ll then be invited into the church to live the theatrical and musical experience "THE GHOSTS OF CHRISTMAS" adapted from the novel by Charles Dickens.

The story of this bestseller, written in 1843, blends smoothly into the real history of Cumberland with its host of characters having lived in real-life in Cumberland Mills around 1900.

The spectacular will carry spectators into a magical Christmas story complete with traditional Christmas songs and music that resonates throughout the charming 1847 stone church.
